The marriage will take place on November 14 in Kochi, say circles close to the actress. Besides ‘Nala Dhamayanthi’, Geethu has done one more film in Tamil- K Balachandar’s ‘Poi’, produced by Prakash Raj.

Geethu and Ravi are in love with each other for the last five years, it is said. The affair was dubbed as “intellectual love” by the Malayalam media and Ravi is her friend, philosopher and guide for a long time now.

It is to be noted that only last month Geethu premiered her debut directorial venture ‘Kelkunundo’, whose cameraman was beyond any doubt Ravi. Grapevine has it that Geethu would direct a Hindi movie post marriage.

However the actress seems to have bid goodbye to her onscreen image so far. At least that is what sources claim.

There is a rumor that she is appearing in a bikini in one of her Tamil movies currently under production. The shooting seems to have happened at Langkawi beach in Malaysia.

However, sources close to Sneha have denied this and quashed the buzz as just a piece of rumor. But many say that watching Sneha in such a steamy outfit will surely drive them crazy.

How excited are you about the release of Pazhassi Raja?

I have never been so anxious for any film before. I am looking forward to watching Pazhassi Raja in a theatre with the public.

I have never been part of such a big film in my life and don’t know if an opportunity like this will ever come again! I am confident that the film will find a place in everyone’s heart and I will also be part of Malayalam film history for just being part of this.

Tamil actress Bhuvaneswari and four men were arrested by the Chennai police on Saturday evening for involving in prostitution. She is residing in a flat located at Adayar in Chennai city, where she is said to be running this business. Sources tell that her neighbours reported the police about her illegal business and police rided her flat and caught red handed the alleged. Bhuvaneshwari, who has acted in several Telugu and Tamil films and television serials, was arrested in 2002 on similar charges but was later acquitted.

WASHINGTON – Padma Lakshmi, former wife of famed author Salman Rushdie and host of popular TV show “Top Chef”, is pregnant with her first child, media reports said.

Lakshmi, 39, has not identified the father, CNN reported Thursday. Her representative told US Weekly that the television personality conceived after a long battle with endometriosis.

“Model, author, and Emmy-nominated Padma Lakshmi confirms that she is carrying her first child after years of struggling with endometriosis, a cause for which she has co-founded the Endometriosis Foundation of America,” the representative told the magazine.

Endometriosis is a medical condition where the uterus’ lining grows in other areas of the body. The often painful condition can cause women to have irregular bleeding and possible infertility.

Lakshmi’s publicist also told US Weekly: “As a result of her condition, this pregnancy has been referred to by her physician as nothing short of a medical miracle, and due to its delicate nature, we ask/implore the press to respect Lakshmi’s privacy at this time.”

Lakshmi has hosted Bravo’s hit show “Top Chef” since its second season and is herself a noted cookbook author.

While that movie is yet to release, the actress’ next movie, another exciting thriller, is already ready for release. Called Puthu Kathai in Tamil and Ottha Katha in Telugu, the movie is about three youngsters who lose their jobs. Desperate for jobs, they agree to a stranger’s strange request. He appoints the three of them to kill him! But before they complete the job, the stranger is killed by someone else, and these three become the prime suspects. On the run, they have to hide and yet find out what actually happened – who the stranger was and who actually killed him.
