Shreya Saran, one of the leading heroines of South Indian cinema is turning 27 today.

The beautiful Sivaji heroine Shreya was born in Haridwar, in 1982. Her father, Pushpendra Saran, worked with Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited while her mother, Neeraja Saran was a chemistry teacher at the Delhi Public School. Shreya also studied at the same school and completed her literature graduation from the Lady Sriram College in New Delhi.
Shreya began her career doing music videos; she also took acting classes in order to pursue a career in movies. She is also a Kathak dancer and has trained under the noted dancer and Kathak exponent Shovana Narayan.
Super Star Rajini’s , Sivaji – The Boss made her a national figure and even drew attention from international film circles. Her recent hit Kandasamy with Vikram has increased her commercial values considerably.
The pretty lady will soon be off to Toronto for the premiere of her new film What’s cooking Stella. In Tamil, her forthcoming releases include Kutty, Jaggu Bhai and Chukku Bukku.
